In Asian countries, like South Korea, Japan, China and Taiwan, March 14th is a special day for females. Since only males receive chocolate or sweets on Valentines Day on February 14th in mentioned countries above, women get their “payback” exactly one month later. Ladies can expect to receive chocolate from male work colleagues, friends, and of course from their significant other.
Japan was the first country that introduced White Day in 1978. Since then, this custom was also brought to its neighbor countries. At the beginning of March convenient stores, supermarkets, and internet shopping malls offer a huge variety of little gifts.
I wish all ladies a sweet White Day ☆☆☆
